Moody was a lifetime member of the CAC, a non-profit organization that he felt so strongly about.

This year they are honoring me at their convention. And I’m going to stand up there, proud as hell, and accept that plaque… because I sure have worked my behind for it.

The history of Gulf Coast wrestling coursed through the veins of Bill Moody. He was honored in 2004 for his long career in the business. In 2014 he was honored for his ongoing loyalty to the organization.

Though managers were starting to become a thing of the past at this point, it is still considered an achievement to receive this, an honor bestowed upon wrestling participants by the fans.

The Undertaker vs. Kane feud raged on. This is when it was revealed that Paul Bearer was, indeed, the father of Kane. The very first inferno match happed this year between the brothers. Bearer eventually turned against his son and returned to the side of “The Dead Man.”
