RALPH PULLEY

I have been blessed with so many treasured friends during my lifetime. Unfortunately, far too many have passed away. Such is the case with Ralph Pulley.

Ralph died on January 5, 1992. He worked for The Von Erich's World Class Wrestling for many years as a referee, announcer, singer, and writer. He was indeed the proverbial Jack-of-all-trades.

We hit it off almost immediately after I joined WCCW in late 1985. He instantly became a part of my family. I will never forget his relationship with my two sons, who were very young at the time, but they loved their "Uncle Ralphie."

During some of the most trying times in my career, Ralph was always there for me. The memories of him knocking at my door one Thanksgiving, with a turkey and all the trimings are etched in my mind forever. He was a class act and a fantastic Christian human being.

I still miss him terribly, but I know where he is. In a place without pain and suffering, and where we will meet again some day.

Rest In Peace, my brother. I know you are smiling.
