As a follow-up to my last story here, “Doing The Right Thing? – The Real Reason Paul Bearer Was Buried In Cement!”, I would like to expound on the new direction that my life and career are taking.

Reiterating the fact that my regular WWE talent contract that I signed on October 3, 2003 terminated on July 10, 2005. I am pleased to tell you that on June 8, 2005 I signed a new multi-year “Legends” agreement with World Wrestling Entertainment. Under this unique deal WWE will continue to market the Paul Bearer character including but not limited to action figures, DVD and videotapes, games, and the publishing of my autobiography. The company will also book me on personal appearances, such as autograph signings, reunions, etc. It is a win-win situation for me, in that for the first time in almost 14-years I am also free to work outside WWE, while maintaining my strong ties with the company.

On a side note, I have also given WWE permission to market Percy Pringle III. It is very possible that for the first time ever a classic PP3 action figure, and other items as well, may become available!

For those of you that have asked, I am entertaining requests for bookings from legit promoters. Those interested in my services may visit the “BOOKING” link on the splash page of

Needless to say, I am jumping feet first into the independent scene beginning with the local organizations in my home area along the Gulf of Mexico. In my heart of hearts I sincerely feel that independent pro wrestling is the grass roots of our industry. If the roots die, the tree dies. I’ve spent over 30 years enjoying the life and the shade that this proverbial tree has provided me. It’s now time for me to give back some of what has been given to me. I am on a personal crusade to do everything possible to help the independents.

I am also seriously considering returning to Funeral Service in some capacity. I invested a tremendous amount of time and money in my Mortuary Science degree and licenses. I have maintained my licenses through the years, even complying with their continuing education requirements. I have always loved the funeral industry, and hindsight being 20/20, I am still amazed that Vince McMahon was the man who combined my dual careers of wrestling and Mortuary Science and turned them into the character we know as Paul Bearer.

I appreciate you folks taking the time to visit my website. My Webmaster Kurt Nielsen does a tremendous job here, especially with the design and artwork. You can see for yourselves that he is a very talented individual. I am proud to call him my friend.

We will continue to update all of the areas of as often as possible. I have tons of photographs and stories that are just waiting to see the light of day. Your emails, questions, suggestions, and memories are always appreciated. I am earnestly working on my autobiography, and you wouldn’t believe what a help your thoughts mean to me.

I thank you.

Until Next Time!
