Here's photographic proof that I was part of the darkside long before I joined The WWF as The Paul Bearer character. In 1976, I wrestled under the mask as The Embalmer (left) along with my best friend Mike Hendrich. I even carried an urn to the ring. Mike went on to graduate law school, and is currently a school principal in our hometown of Mobile, AL.
